Itinerary

Day 1

Swiss Border/ Airport – Interlaken

Arrive at Interlaken by train IIND Class from the Swiss Border or any Swiss Airport and proceed to hotel for check-in. Overnight in Interlaken.

Day 2

Interlaken – Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe

Today, we will enjoy an excursion from Interlaken up to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe. From Interlaken Ost, board the train to Kleine Scheidegg at the foot of the famous Eiger North Wall; at Kleine Scheidegg, change trains and board the Jungfrau Railway up to the Jungfraujoch. At 3454 m/11’333 ft, it is the highest railway station in Europe. Overnight in Interlaken.

Day 3

Interlaken – Luzern

Today, we will check-out from the hotel at Interlaken and continue our tour to the next stop – Luzern. Board the Burning Express from Interlaken to Lucerne (panoramic seats in 1st Class only). On arrival at Luzern, proceed to hotel for check-in. Overnight in Lucerne.

Day 4

Luzern – Mount Pilatus

Today, we will enjoy an excursion to Mount Pilatus, the site of the steepest cogwheel railway in the world. The excursion begins with a scenic cruise down Lake Lucerne from Lucerne to Alpnachstad; at Alpnachstad, we will board the steepest cogwheel railway up to the Pilatus 2132 m/7000 ft (from May/June to November, during winter you take the bus from Lucerne to Kriens and further with a panoramic gondola from Kriens to Pilatus). Time at leisure. Overnight in Lucerne.

Day 5

Luzern – Depart for onward journey connection

Return to Swiss border or airport or continue your stay in Switzerland at your own request.
