Itinerary

Day 1

Swiss Border / Airport – Luzern

Arrive at the Swiss Border or airport and proceed to board the First class coach of your train to Lucerne. Overnight in Lucerne hotel.

Day 2

Luzern – Mt Titlis

In the morning after breakfast, enjoy an excursion to Mount Titlis; at 3020 m/10’000 ft, it is the highest scenic peak in Central Switzerland and offers magnificent views. From Lucerne, we take the train you to the mountain monastery village Engelberg, where we board a gondola to Trübsee. We continue our trip by another gondola to Station Stand and finally board the Rotair – the first revolving cable car in the world to Mount Titlis. For a spectacular, close-up insight into a glacier, visit the glacier cave and ride the Ice Flyer chairlift. After a fun-filled day out on the slopes and the summit, return to Luzern for overnight stay. Overnight in Lucerne hotel.

Day 3

Luzern – Golden Pass Line – Interlaken

Today after breakfast, we board the panoramic coach – Golden Pass Line for a magical journey through exquisite scenery as we make our way from Luzern to Interlaken. Departing from Lucerne, the Golden Pass takes you over the Brünig Pass and past 3 small lakes before reaching Lake Brienz with its very distinctive colour due to its glacier waters. On arrival at Interlaken, proceed to hotel for check-in and overnight stay. Overnight in Interlaken hotel.

Day 4

Interlaken – Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe

Today after breakfast, we enjoy an excursion from Interlaken up to Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe. Proceed to Interlaken Ost Railway Station to board the train to Lauterbrunnen, where we board the train to Kleine Scheidegg – at the foot of the famous Eiger North Wall. From here, we board the UNESCO-recognized Jungfrau Railway, which transports you 4593 feet up to Jungfraujoch, which at 11’333 ft is the highest railway station in Europe. Once at the top, breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps greet you. In the evening, return to Interlaken. Overnight in Interlaken hotel.

Day 5

Interlaken – Montreux

Proceed to the railway station after breakfast to board the train to Zweisimmen (depending on the train schedule with the Saloon Blue Golden Pass Panoramic BLS train). At Zweisimmen, board the Golden Pass Panoramic MOB train for the rest of journey to Montreux. You find yourself chugging past among alpine forests, bubbling mountain springs and picturesque mountain villages. On arrival at Montreux, proceed to hotel for overnight stay. Overnight in Montreux hotel.

Day 6

Montreux – Depart for onward journey connection

After breakfast today, we return to the Swiss border or airport for our onward journey or flight back home.
