Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Auckland

On arrival in Auckland, ‘The City of Sails’, proceed to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay. A local representative will meet Seat-in-Coach passengers and assist them to their hotel. Guests on the Self-drive itinerary can collect their rental car at the Airport and drive to their hotel. Overnight in Auckland.

Day 2

Auckland

After breakfast, enjoy a Morning Sightseeing Tour of Auckland City; sights that we visit include the Kelly Tarlton’s Underwater World and Antarctic Encounter. No other activities are scheduled for the day leaving you free to pursue your own plans. Overnight in Auckland.

Day 3

Auckland – Waitomo – Rotorua

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed on the scenic drive through the fertile Waikato Region to Waitomo for a guided tour of the famous Glowworm Caves. The tour includes an underground boat ride followed by lunch. Continue to Rotorua after the tour; on arrival at Rotorua, proceed to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay. Overnight in Rotorua.

Day 4

Rotorua – Queenstown

After breakfast, visit the Te Puia Thermal Reserve to see boiling mud pools and roaring geysers. Following this, visit Rainbow Springs to see New Zealand’s trout, birds and wildlife before continuing to the Agrodome for a New Zealand farm show featuring sheep dog demonstrations, cow milking and an introduction to the stars of our sheep industry. Later, in the afternoon, proceed to Rotorua Airport to board your domestic flight to Queenstown (Airfare is not included). On arrival in Queenstown, proceed to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay. Overnight in Queenstown.

Day 5

Milford Sound

After breakfast, proceed on your scenic tour to Milford Sound. Follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, and thereon to Lake Te Anau. Enter the Eglinton Valley and travel through the breathtaking manmade Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound. Enjoy a cruise on this world famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls. Buffet lunch is also included on board today. Return to Queenstown for overnight stay. Overnight in Queenstown.

Day 6

Queenstown

After breakfast, explore the endless attractions of Queenstown and enjoy adventurous activities such as bungee jumping, jet boating, white-water rafting, gondola rides and much more. Optional activities not included in the tour price. Overnight in Queenstown.

Day 7

Depart Queenstown

After breakfast, board a departure transfer or drive your rental car back to the airport for your flight back home or on to the next destination.
